HIDDEN TRAIL

Laguna Hills

CHALLENGE
Another contractor started building this job!  Sometimes a homeowner gets knee deep before they realize that there are some contractors that shouldn’t be in the business. Hence our motto “We’re different than the other guy…”

SOLUTION
We took a job that was 1/3 of the way finished, fixed many, MANY errors, and produced amazing results.

SIENA

Laguna Niguel

CHALLENGE
Sometimes remodels hold the most difficult challenges. This pool was only 5’ from the house and was relatively small. We had to make it look like you weren’t going to fall in the pool the minute you walked outside!

SOLUTION
We implemented a modular hardscape system on the pathway between the house and the pool. Limestone lined with artificial turf provided the necessary visual break to buffer the small space between the two features. We also turned an existing planter into a baja shelf, creating more pool space, and raised the spa to incorporate extra spillways.

NAVAJO

Lake Forest

CHALLENGE
The existing yard was good-sized, but a SEA of concrete. The Homeowner wanted a very sustainable landscape, and wanted to re-use much of her existing broken concrete from the previous yard built in the 1970’s.

SOLUTION
After demo, we took most of the broken concrete from the HUGE existing patio, and turned it into raised planters, holding drought tolerant and native plantings.  We used a walkable ground cover as the “lawn”, and built a bocce ball court in an odd-shaped side yard. The result is a rustic/industrial look, requiring low water and maintenance, using recycled materials and allowing natural water to penetrate almost everywhere.
